I know I didn't expect my healthy, active husband Mike to have a sudden heart attack a few years ago.

Prior to starting my law practice, I worked as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office between 1991-1998 and again between 2006-2017. (Between 1998 and 2006 I was a stay at home mom)
I received my J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1990 and my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1987. I also attended Loyola University Rome Center during the Spring of 1986.
I am married to Michael Clancy and we have four children; Paul, John, Maureen and Luke who are either attending college or have graduated college (yeah!). I am a big proponent of family dinner and I love cooking (I'm a Barefoot Contessa Cookbook Fan!).
